CPU:
For desktop machines, we suggest an IBM or compatible PC with
a Core Duo or a Pentium 4 / Pentium D running at 2 Ghz. For tablet or laptop
machines, we suggest a Core processor or 1.2 Ghz Centrino (Pentium M) .
An 800 Mhz machine is the minimum.
Voyager
can be run on an Intel-based Mac using either Apple's Boot
Camp or Parallel's Desktop for Mac. It does not run
natively on the Mac OS and we do not recommend running it
under Microsoft Virtual PC on a PowerPC-based system.
Operating Systems: Windows Vista, XP or 2000.
RAM: 1 GB is recommended, 512 MB minimum.
Hard Disk: At least 250MB of free space, 2 GB if you
plan to download all US approach procedures and 8 GB if you
also want all US scanned charts.
Web Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) 5.01 or
later.
Screen: 800 x 480 or better color monitor (1024 x 768
or higher highly recommended)
Printer: Any printer supported by Windows. Required for
printing flight plans/charts.
Internet: Required for downloading weather data,
fuel prices, TFR
and other data/application updates, etc. A broadband (DSL, LAN
or cable-modem), always-on connection is preferred but not required.
GPS: Bluetooth, serial or USB GPS unit required for
GlassView (moving map).
XM Receiver: An XM WX satellite receiver, either
Bluetooth or USB, is required for XM weather. A subscription
to XM is also required. |
